Oregon State University Celebrates International Women's Day, March 8, 2023

OSU is pleased to join in recognizing International Women's Day, a global day honoring the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, and a call to action for accelerating women's equality.

The Hattie Redmond Women & Gender Center (WGC) serves as a campus focal point for projects directed at addressing women's issues on campus, in the community-at-large, and globally. As an open community of leaders inspiring change, we provide advocacy, resources, and opportunities to transform ideas into positive action and reality.

AYA's mission is to facilitate long-lasting and dynamic support for Womxn of Color in all endeavors through facilitating interconnectedness within OSU and Corvallis communities and welcoming all people into spaces that allow for learning, growth, and healing.

  

President's Commission on the Status of Women

The President's Commission on the Status of Women (PCOSW) actively advocates for and promotes a positive climate for all university women including students, staff, faculty, and administrators. Now in its fourth decade, PCOSW gives voice to women's experiences and perspectives by advocating for gender parity at our university. 

  

 

Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies

The Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program at Oregon State University relies on multi-disciplinary approaches to the study of gender and sexuality, particularly as they intersect with race, ethnicity, class, culture, religion, nation, and ability.
