State of Inclusive Excellence

The Office of Institutional Diversity

Welcome to the 2026 State of Inclusive Excellence at Oregon State

The State of Inclusive Excellence at Oregon State highlights programs, initiatives and community members whose work demonstrates the many ways inclusive excellence is taking shape across the university. The efforts featured this year represent only a small portion of the creativity, commitment and leadership advancing inclusive excellence through teaching, research, engagement, student success, community building and institutional practice.

As Oregon’s land grant university, Oregon State has a responsibility to expand access, advance opportunity and contribute to the well-being of communities across Oregon and beyond. The programs highlighted here reflect that responsibility in action. Across disciplines, roles and locations, they show how inclusive excellence strengthens the university’s mission and supports a more welcoming, successful and impactful Oregon State community.

We are grateful to the programs and teams featured here for their leadership, service and sustained commitment to advancing inclusive excellence at Oregon State.
