Oregon State University is currently engaged in the development of its next Diversity Action Plan that will guide efforts to advance the university's inclusive excellence mission over the next seven years. Read on to learn more about how you can contribute.

 The OSU community will shape the next Diversity Strategic Plan.

 

The end of 2023 marks the end of Oregon State’s first Diversity Strategic Plan, Innovate & Integrate: Plan for Inclusive Excellence 2018-2023, resulting in the advancement of our vision to become a model for inclusive excellence. We are now positioned to imagine and articulate new goals for that vision, and identify actions that will lay the groundwork for our success.

The university is engaged in the development of its next university strategic plan for 2024-30. The Diversity Action Plan will align closely with that plan and provide tangible, measurable goals and actions to enable and articulate success from 2024 to 2030. It will be developed through an adaptive strategic planning process and will include community and stakeholder engagement at many stages.

The Diversity Action Plan serves as the university level strategic plan for inclusive excellence. The outcome of this process will be a guide for the university community in which every OSU community member can see their role in advancing inclusive excellence at OSU. Thus, every student, employee and OSU community member is invited to participate in the process. Please plan to attend one of the community forums, and provide feedback as we share updates throughout the process.

Together we can make Oregon State a more welcoming and inclusive university.

University Forums

The Office of Institutional Diversity will host forums to discuss the Diversity Action Plan. The first session will focus on student feedback, the second session will focus on employee feedback and the third session will be open to everyone at the university.
